Homework for the week of February 8-12

This week, each class will be assigned a Valentine Project. This project is due on Friday, February 12,2010. On Tuesday and Wednesday, I will be attending a math meeting at Birmingham Southern College. On these two days, all classes will be doing work in class which, if not completed, will be homework. When I return on Thursday, each class will have a test on Probability.

Monday, February 8, 2010
Each class today will work on independent and dependent probability. Math 7 will have workbook page 208 for homework. Pre-algebra will have a worksheet for homework.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010
Today each class will have a worksheet on probability. This should be completed in class and turned in to Mrs. Townsend. If you do not complete the sheet, then it becomes homework. This sheet will be a homework grade. Work, tonight, on your project.

Wednesday, February 10, 2010
Today each class will have a worksheet on integers and equations. This will be review for the SAT 10 and ARMT. Tomorrow all classes will have a test on Probability. You need to study for the test using your workbook and textbook. Remember your project is due Friday.

Test today on probability. Project due tomorrow.

Friday, February 12, 2010
Project due today. We will discuss the results of the project and then do a group project involving patterns and rules. No homework over the weekend.

Important dates to remember:
2/13/10 Miss CCMS pageant at Clear Branch Methodist. It begins at 12:00 p. m.
2/15/10 Presidents' Day No school!!
2/22/10 Fund raiser for Athletic Booster Club. Tickets currently on sale at the school.
2/23/10 Community Math Night at CCMS. Middle school 7th graders will recieve bonus points if a family member attends. More details will follow.
3/15/10 -3/19/10 Spring Break !!!!!!!!!!!!
