Homework for the week of September 21-25

Note: I will be attending a workshop at BSC on Monday and Tuesday of this week. My classes will have a sub and will be given review work from their textbook and workbook. Math 7 will have a short quiz on Wednesday when I return and Pre-algebra will have chapter 2 test.

Monday, September 21

Math 7 Review Lesson 2.2 Using Number Sense to Solve Equations

Textbook page 3-25 odd problems, 40-52 and 55-71(all). You will begin this in class and anything not completed is homework.

Pre-Algebra Review Lesson 2.5 and 2.6 Solving Equations

Today in class you will review solving equations. Workbook pages 25-26, even problems and workbook pages 27-28, odd problems. Remember show all your steps, these are not mental math problems. Homework for tonight is a worksheet.

Math 7 Review Lesson 2.2 Using Number Sense to Solve Equations

Classwork Workbook pages 23-24 all the problems Turn in this work before the end of class.
Homework Textbook page 684 problems 2-20 Quiz tomorrow on evaluating and solving equations.

Pre-algebra Review Lessons 2.2 and 2.3 Distributive Property and Simplifying Expressions

Classwork today will be the following: Workbook page 19 problems 13-18, page 20 problems 21-23, page 21 problems 2-16 and page 22 problems 17-24. Tomorrow you will have chapter 2 test. I will only put 2 problems with decimals on the test, the rest will be solving equations, using the distributive property and simplifying expressions. Study tonight!! We will have a short review before the test.
